Online appeals

PATAS will soon be able to offer the facility for an appeal to be made online through our website.

All London authorities will be given the opportunity to subscribe to the online facility, though we cannot require them to do so. Only if the authority subscribes to the service will a motorist be able to use our website to appeal against a Notice of Rejection issued by that individual authority.

It will be possible to complete an electronic version of the Notice of Appeal form, and upload electronic copies of documents or photographs held on your own personal computer to support the appeal.

The aims of introducing online appeals is to:

• Increase accessibility of the appeals service to the public
• Reduce delays in the process whilst waiting for paperwork
• Reduce the amount of paper/ink etc
